Terms of Service

01About these terms

These terms govern your use of Ninjadebrid (the “service”), published by Ninjadebrid (“we”, “us”). By using the service, with or without an account, you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the service.

02The service

You submit a magnet link or a .torrent file; our servers download the torrent into a shared cache and give you a direct HTTPS link to each of its files, to download or stream. Our servers stop sharing a torrent as soon as its download completes.

We provide no content of our own: no catalog, no search, no recommendations. Everything that goes through the service is chosen and submitted by its users.

03Acceptable use

You may only submit torrents you have the right to download. In particular, you must not:

  • infringe copyright or any other rights of third parties;
  • submit illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
  • publish your direct links, resell access to the service, or share your account beyond your household;
  • get around limits, bot checks or bans, for instance with several accounts or IP addresses;
  • disrupt the service or use it to spread malware.

04Accounts

You need an account to buy a pass, and you must be of legal age in your country to create one. Keep your password safe: you're responsible for what happens under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from its Security page. Deletion is immediate and final: your Library, pass history and usage go with it, and the days left on a pass are lost (an unused pass can be refunded first, see below).

05Free trial and limits

Without a pass, with or without an account, you can submit 1 torrent every 24 hours, up to 10 GB; your direct links are valid for 3 hours, and you can open 2 connections at once per IP address. Free capacity is shared by all free users each day and may run out.

With a pass, you can submit torrents up to 250 GB, with up to 20 downloading at once; your direct links are valid for 7 days, and you can open 4 connections at once, from any devices. Each calendar month, your first 2 TB of transfers run at full speed; beyond that, speed is limited to 10 MB/s until the next month.

06Cache and availability

The cache is shared and its size is limited. Files that haven't been used for a while may be removed to make room; a removed torrent can be fetched again, provided it still has peers. Don't use Ninjadebrid as the only copy of anything.

A torrent that makes no progress for 6 hours is marked as failed. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

07Passes and payment

A pass gives you Subscriber access for a fixed number of days (30, 90, or 365), at the price shown on the pricing page when you buy it, taxes included. It's a one-time purchase: nothing renews automatically. If you buy a pass while one is active, its days are added to your current end date. When your pass ends, your account goes back to the free limits. Torrents you added with the pass stay listed, but their links, playback and relaunch are locked until you buy a new pass.

We email you before your pass ends and on the day it ends. Your Library stays readable for 90 days after your pass ends, then it is deleted; we email you 7 days beforehand.

08Refunds and right of withdrawal

A pass you haven't used is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of purchase: write to billing@ninjadebrid.net. A pass counts as used once you've downloaded or streamed anything with it.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, buying a pass means you ask us to start the service straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you use it. A pass that has been used is not refunded.

09Abuse and takedowns

We act on notices from rights holders and authorities as described on our Abuse and DMCA page. A torrent found to be infringing or illegal is banned: its files are deleted, it can no longer be submitted, and existing links to it stop working. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, in particular those of repeat infringers.

10Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, or for the loss of data or of files removed from the cache. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

11Changes

We may update these terms, for instance when online payment opens. We'll post the new version here with its date and, for significant changes, tell pass holders by email.
